Amusement Parks and Zoo
• San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal park. Two separate attractions, you would need a day to see each. The zoo and the park are both open every day 9a – 4p, so get there in the morning to have time to see all the animals!
• Sea World. Penguin encounter, dolphin discovery, and of course shamu! Park opens daily at 10a. closes 6p on weekdays, 7.30p on Sat / Sun nights.
• Legoland. Open 10a – 5p daily, closed Tue / Wed.
San Diego Landmarks
• Hotel Coronado – landmark luxury hotel. Famous for Sunday brunch in the Crown Room.
• La Jolla Cove – string of beachfront restaurants. Top shelf food and amazing views.
• Gas Lamp district – downtown, with bars and restaurants. For those looking for more fun into the later hours of the night ;)
Professional Sports
San Diego Chargers play at Qualcomm stadium in Mission Valley. They will be playing the Kansas City Chiefs at home, on Sunday September 30. game time at 1:15p
The San Diego Padres play at Petco Park. Unfortunately, they will be away for the entire week of 9/21 so there will be no home games on the weekend of the wedding.
